The chicken egg is hidden near the fountain where the children are running around. An arrow will appear when you get close, so investigate it and deliver it to the client.
Note: It's Not the Fountain in the Shopping District
By the way, the fountain where the egg is hidden is not the one inside the shopping district. It's not the fountain where the boy who gives you a hint about the egg's location is. Keep that in mind.
