The First Playthrough Always Results in Ending A

When you clear the game for the first time, you will always get Ending A. Even if you meet the conditions for other endings, you will still get Ending A, so you can proceed without worrying about it.
The Second Playthrough Starts After Releasing Kaine from Petrification in Part 2
Subsequent playthroughs after Ending A begin after releasing Kaine from petrification in Part 2. You cannot return to Part 1, so make sure you haven't missed anything. From the second playthrough onwards, more of Kaine's perspective is added, revealing things that were not told in the first playthrough.

It Ends with Rescuing Yonah

In Ending A, you rescue the Replicant Yonah from the Shadowlord, and the story ends with her living with the protagonist. Although the initial goal is achieved, it concludes without any salvation for companions like Kaine and Emil.
The Fates of Your Companions are in Other Endings
The fates of the companions (Kaine, Emil) not depicted in Ending A are shown in other endings from the second playthrough onwards. If you want to see the conclusion of the story, subsequent playthroughs are essential.
