The additional "The Little Mermaid" episode is content included within the main story. You can play it after receiving a request from Popola while collecting the key fragments in Part 2.

Download the DLC from the Store
First, search for NieR Replicant on the PlayStation Store, select the add-on content, and download it.
Restart the Game to Install
After that, if NieR Replicant is running, restart it to perform the installation. The installation is complete when a message appears on the screen indicating it's finished.
The DLC is Added Automatically
When the game starts, the DLC will be added automatically. Weapons will be added to the item list in your current save data, and costumes can be changed from the options menu.
If it's not added, try restarting your PS4
If the DLC is not added when you restart the game, try restarting your PS4. Restarting may allow it to install correctly and be added.

In this version, new scenarios and events have been added to the original Replicant. These additional elements, including the DLC, are referred to as extra content.
