Order for Viewing the Endings
Summary of Ending Order and Procedure
1 | Clear the first playthrough normally to see Ending A |
---|---|
2 | Start the second playthrough with the clear data →Clear it to see Ending B |
3 | Start the third playthrough with the Ending B clear data |
4 | Obtain all weapons (condition for Endings C & D) See list of weapon locations |
5 | Before entering the Shadowlord's Castle, create two separate save files in different slots at the Stone Temple |
6 | Choose "To save Kainé's life..." in the final choice and clear Ending C |
7 | Use the save data you split at the Stone Temple to continue the story |
8 | Choose "In exchange for my own existence..." in the final choice and clear Ending D →Your data will be deleted |
9 | Resume play from New Game →The game will automatically branch to Ending E, then clear it |
Split Save Data on 3rd Playthrough
Before tackling the Shadowlord's Castle on your third playthrough, split your save data into two files. By keeping one save file as is, you can resume from before the Shadowlord's Castle to go for Ending D without starting a fourth playthrough after getting Ending C.
Ending E Branches Automatically
After your save data is deleted in Ending D, the game will automatically branch to Ending E when you start from New Game. Upon clearing it, your save data from before clearing Ending D will be restored, so there is no need to split your saves or take other precautions.
