Replicant Protagonist and Yonah are Saved

By defeating the Shadowlord, you can get the Replicant Yonah back. The ending concludes with a scene where the young protagonist and Yonah, as well as the Gestalt Shadowlord and Yonah, are shown together, seemingly happy.

- Clear the game on the second playthrough

Second Playthrough is Also Fixed to Ending B

Similar to the first playthrough, the second playthrough has no branching points and will always result in Ending B. Even if you have completed the weapon collection at this point, you will not get any other ending.

Ending B Explanation (Spoilers)

Brief Ending Explanation

Depicted from the Shadowlord's Perspective

Ending B is the conclusion depicted from the Shadowlord's perspective. He recalls a conversation with the human Yonah and is enveloped in light.

Emil's Survival is Confirmed

After the ending credits, a cutscene plays, revealing that Emil is alive. Although he has been reduced to just his head by an explosion, he is shown cheerfully bouncing around, searching for something to become his body.

Ending C Branching Conditions

Ending C

- On the third playthrough or later
- Collect all 30 weapons
- Choose "To save Kainé's life..." in the final choice

Weapon Completion is Required

To see Ending C (and Ending D), it is essential to collect all 30 types of weapons. Make sure to collect all weapons by the end of your third playthrough.

Ending C Explanation (Spoilers)

Brief Ending Explanation

Saving Kainé by Killing Her

This is the route where you kill the rampaging Kainé with your sword to save her from her suffering. After Kainé disappears, Tyrann tells you that "Kainé has been freed from her suffering and saved." Being killed was also Kainé's wish.

Ending D Branching Conditions

Ending D
Branching Condition
- On the third playthrough or later
- Collect all 30 weapons
- Choose "In exchange for my own existence..." in the final choice

Game Data is Deleted After the Ending

For Ending D, there are multiple confirmation prompts to delete your save data before the ending. By answering "Yes" to all of them and entering your name, the save data with the same name in the game will be deleted.

Answering "No" Leads to Ending C

If you answer "No" to the deletion confirmation prompts, you will proceed to Ending C. If you accidentally chose the Ending D route or have unfinished business, choose "No" to return to your playthrough.

Ending D Explanation (Spoilers)

Brief Ending Explanation

Erasing the Protagonist's Existence to Make Kainé Human

In Ending D, the protagonist's existence is erased from the world in exchange for returning Kainé to her human form. Although Yonah and Kainé's memories of the protagonist are gone, they shed tears, feeling that "I feel like I received something precious."

Ending E Unlock Conditions

Ending E
Branching Condition
- Delete save data after Ending D
- Start the game from New Game
- Have Kainé join your party at The Aerie (2nd visit)

Have Kainé Join in a New Game After Ending D

To get to Ending E, you need to start a new game after all your data has been deleted upon clearing Ending D. As you progress through the new data, the path will branch to Ending E at the point when Kainé joins your party at The Aerie (2nd visit).

Based on a Novella from the Art Book

Ending E is based on a novella published in the art book that depicts the story after Ending D. It was referred to as Ending E in an interview within the same book.

Order for Viewing the Endings

Summary of Ending Order and Procedure

1Clear the first playthrough normally to see Ending A
2Start the second playthrough with the clear data
→Clear it to see Ending B
3Start the third playthrough with the Ending B clear data
4Obtain all weapons (condition for Endings C & D)
See list of weapon locations
5Before entering the Shadowlord's Castle, create two separate save files in different slots at the Stone Temple
6Choose "To save Kainé's life..." in the final choice and clear Ending C
7Use the save data you split at the Stone Temple to continue the story
8Choose "In exchange for my own existence..." in the final choice and clear Ending D
→Your data will be deleted
9Resume play from New Game
→The game will automatically branch to Ending E, then clear it

Split Save Data on 3rd Playthrough

Before tackling the Shadowlord's Castle on your third playthrough, split your save data into two files. By keeping one save file as is, you can resume from before the Shadowlord's Castle to go for Ending D without starting a fourth playthrough after getting Ending C.

Ending E Branches Automatically

After your save data is deleted in Ending D, the game will automatically branch to Ending E when you start from New Game. Upon clearing it, your save data from before clearing Ending D will be restored, so there is no need to split your saves or take other precautions.
