To catch Globefish, you need to use Lugworms as bait. They cannot be caught with a lure, so be sure to buy Lugworms in bulk from the tackle shop.

Globefish are added to the fish shop's inventory as you progress through the fishing quests. However, you need to catch all the ones required for the quests yourself, so there's little point in buying them.
