The Search Ice Boxes challenge is one of the 14 challenges that will be released as part of the Winterfest Event, The event is stated to launch on December 17, 2019.

Ice Boxes can be found all over the map even in areas where there are no snow. Most of them however are found within the newly snowed in parts of the map.
How to Complete Ice Box Challenge
You'll Need to Destroy Ice Boxes
Ice Boxes do not function that same as regular chests. You'll need to strike it down and destroy it before you can get the loot inside. It has a massive 3500 health.
Use Pickaxe to Destroy Ice Boxes
Save your ammo and use your Pickaxe to take down the Ice Boxes. With a health of 3500, using your ammo on it will be nothing but a waste.
Use Rocket Launcher for Easier Breaking
If you happen to have a Rocket Launcher and a few spare rockets, it;s efficient to use that as well. Just be careful of the splash damage and being heard by nearby enemies.
