Move quickly or the storm will be on you before you even know it! Fortnite's new Limited Time Mode - Steady Storm will have the Storm continuously close in limiting each match to 15 minutes!

Nowhere is Safe
There will be no safe zone circles in Steady Storms, which means players have to be on their toes and find out where the Storm will close in.
The Storm is Relentlessly Lethal
Don't let the storm even touch you. At 10 damage per second, just 10 seconds in the Storm will bring you down. It will also continuously engulf the map in the span of 15 minutes.
Profile Stats Will Be Recorded
Play the game right. Profile Stats such as Kills, Deaths, and Wins in Steady Storm matches will be recorded.

The best way to survive is of course to keep your distance from the storm. Secure items that will help you outrun it!
Use Items to Help Boost Speed
There are some items that helps player characters to move faster! This is essential when trying to escape the storm!
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Launch Pad | Jump on the Launch Pad to activate your Glider and move faster across the map! You can make your Glider last longer by using the launch pad on high ground! |
| Bouncers | Using the bouncer negates all fall damage so you can use it on high ground to quickly get down from high points and cover more ground! |
| Impulse Grenades | Impulse Grenades will push you a bit when used. It's not as effective as the bouncer, but using it consecutively will give you that extra push to get away from the storm. |
Utilize Rifts
Rifts will instantly teleport you up in the air where you can activate your Glider. Open your Glider as soon as you go through the Rift to make your Glider last longer!
Travel Faster with Vehicles
Vehicles are a priority in Steady Storm matches. Grab an ATK or a Shopping Cart a before anyone else, but be careful as you may become a target by enemies!
