What is the Shopping Cart?
The Shopping Cart has been vaulted as of v8.00 Patch Update. We'll update this if it ever comes back to the game.
The Shopping Cart is the first vehicle introduced in Fortnite. It can be used by up to two people, one as a passenger and the other as the driver.

The Shopping Cart is spread abundantly across the map so you can easily run across it. Notable locations include the pier at Loot Lake and at Risky Reels.

Press the "Interact" key to use the shopping cart either as the driver or as the passenger.
Push To Move Forward
Tap the "Push" button to kick the Shopping Cart forward. Keep the rhythm to increase your speed.
Hold Down "Push" Button To Coast
Take advantage of downhill momentums by coasting. Hold down the "Push" button to ride along with the shopping cart.
Switch Places/Get Onboard
Press the "Switch Seat" button to get onboard the Shopping Cart or to switch places with the passenger in case of enemy engagements!
Healing/Combat
Heal on the go! Once you're onboard the Shopping Cart, you can use items like bandages, shield potions, and even equip weapons.
Flipping the Shopping Cart
Be careful of bumps in the road like platforms or flooring. If you've overturned the Shopping Cart, you can use the "Interact" key to flip it back to its wheels.
Things You Can Do with the Shopping Cart
Faster than Running
You can travel faster using the Shopping Cart by pushing it forward and coasting. Since it's faster than being on foot, it can also help outrun the storm.
Pressuring Enemies
Even as the sole user of the Shopping Cart, you can engage against enemies! Gain momentum and get onboard the shopping cart so you can drive by and shoot enemies.
Combat with a Passenger
The Passenger will be responsible to shooting down enemies. The driver on the other hand needs to focus on maneuvering around enemy fire to keep both of them alive.
Get to High Ground
This only works with a passenger! The driver needs to keep pushing the cart forward, while the passenger creates the stairs,
Quick Escape
Use the shopping cart to disengage from combat. You can even use it to jump off from the high ground since it has no fall damage!
