New Weapon Tunings & Grind Weekend Playlist

After listening to player feedbacks, the developers have balanced the Peacekeeper and S6 Stingray weapons to keep the meta as competitive as ever. A bug regarding the Locus reticles not aligning has also been fixed!

Contracts System To Arrive Later in June

Later this month, players will get a new way to receive more Reserve rewards with the Contract system. These are daily rotating challenges players can complete for rewards such as XP and Reserves.

New Ground War Mode, New Weapons & More!

The new updates features a new Blackout Mode called Ground War, an intense 50 vs. 50 deathmatch set in the Blackout map. This new update also introduces new weapons players can obtain via the Bribe Supply Drops.

As with the usual Black Ops updates, this event will be released on other platforms the following week.

Black Ops Pass owners will receive a 2X Tier Boost this week, starting May 22 to May 28. The 2X Tier Boost, as well as the Black Ops pass map access is shared to all party members the pass holder is playing with.

The Assassin Spectre Makes A Return

Returning from Black Ops 3 is Spectre. Unleash the Shadow Blade on your enemies for fast melee kills while being able to dodge enemy gunfire. Throw a smoke grenade to hide you from enemies while being able to see them.

Wetworks Map Update

Hydro Dam has exploded and flooded the entire Blackout Map. Low lying areas can now be accessed by boats, so change your entire approach to Blackout!

Deathmatch Dominaton Live On All Platforms

The new Deathmatch Domination is now live as well on Xbox One and PC now with 12 player support. In this mode, payers gain points by holding domination points and getting kills.

Last Chance To Play Blackout For Free

Blackout Free Access is ending April 30, and will be kicked off with the return of Hot Pursuit mode, and one last 2X Merit weekend before the next major update.

Deathmatch Domination Arrives This Week

In this hybrid game mode, players earn score when by by holding domination points and getting kills, enabling you to contribute to the team's score however you want!

Fight With Limited Visibility in Arsenal Sandstorm

In this variation of the map Arsenal, players will have to navigate through the map amidst a raging sandstorm. Choose and prepare your loadout well and equip gear that will help you spot enemies!

Infected Arrives On All Platforms

Also in this week's update, the Infected multiplayer mode will be available on all platforms. Try to survive as long as you can, or join the infected and aim to infect all survivors.

Infected Mode, Alcatraz Blackout Map & Skill Divisions

The April 9 update brings with it new content for different game modes of Call of Duty Black Ops 4! New contents include the Infected Game Mode, Alcatraz Blackout Map, and Skill Divisions in League Play!

New Multiplayer Mode "Infected"

The new update brings with it the new multiplayer game mode: Infected, where two teams (Survivors & Infected) are pit against each other. Outlast the infected team, or turn everyone into a zombie!

New Blackout Map "Alcatraz"

A new map called Alcatraz is now available to play in the Blackout mode of the game! This new map features tight corners and spaces to keep the action fast-paced! Due to its smaller size, the player count per match will also be reduced.

Skill Divisions In League Play

Skill Divisions will now be implemented into the World League Mode. Players will now be assigned a skill rating based on their ranking in the active competitive community, and will be placed into divisions for better matchmaking.

Faster Healing in Barebones, Stability Fixes & More

This update improves healing cooldown in Barebones mode, and introduces stability fixes and other improvements in for Alcatraz and Ancient Evil. Treyarch also introduced a revamped Combat Record for mobile and web so players can take a look at their stats even when not in game.

New Blackout Map Alcatraz Launches April 2

An entirely new Blackout map, Alcatraz, will be released on Apr. 2, first on the PS4! Taking place in the infamous prison island, the map is much smaller in size and will feature close quarters combat!

Gameplay Improvements & Fixes

n this latest and minor update, bug fixes and improvements across all modes will be implemented, especially for Ancient Evil and the new Zombshell perk in Zombies.

Free MKII Weapon Crate

This week starting with the PS4, players will get a free Weapon Crate at the Black Market for a guaranteed MKII Weapon which grants +25% bonus XP per kill, plus two other free Reserve items. Make sure to claim yours immediately before offer expires.

New Barebones MP Mode For Classic COD Action

Players will a taste of classic Call of Duty action with Barebones mode. In this mode, there will be no specialists, equipment and gear.

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day In Shamrock & Awe

Black Ops 4 will be bringing back a classic tradition with Shamrock & Awe. No further details have been announced yet but we can expect a St. Patrick's Day themed event, which will include new skins, weapons, maps and modes!

Updates to All Modes

A new mode called Stockpile will be introduced to Multiplayer, while a Hardcore mode will be thrown in Blackout mode. In Zombies, players can expect the all new Hellcatraz Gauntlet mode!

Gauntlet Mode is a new mode within Zombies mode that introduces 30-Round challenges while you fight your way through hordes of Zombies.

Safeguard Playlist & Bowie Knife - Nov 27, 2018

New Playlist Added - Safeguard

Work together to secure your charge in this new Escort Mission, Safeguard. To win the game, teams must bring their robot charge into enemy territories while also preventing the other team from completing the mission.

Bowie Knife Release

The Bowie Knife can now be looted in Equipment Stashes, defeated Zombies, and as a random item spawn in Zombies-themed maps across all platforms.

Blackout

Blackout is a last-man-standing game mode where lots of players descend onto a map. Starting with only your fists, collect your gear, optimize your loadout, and fight it out to get to the top spot!

Zombies

Take control of 1 of four unique characters as they fight against waves and waves of zombies.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer allows you to pick from a number of different Game Modes. This includes, a Capture The Flag Game Mode, Hardpoint Mode, and more!
