I have no ammo regen and completely ran out of all ammo to kill him when still 2 health bars, finished it melee style lol

I figured it out. Vincent shoots this red stuff and if you stand in it he will refill his health.

I’m playing on Mayhem 4 and Vincent keeps healing back up to full health. It took me 20 mins to get him down below 1 health bar and he healed back to 3 full health bars without me dying. Any tips?
