Things To Note When Choosing A Job

Professions Don't Affect Battle Royale Mode

Choosing a profession at start of the game will not have any affect on your experience in the 30 players PvP Battle Royale mode! That is to say, you can pick whichever profession you like the most!

Melee and Ranged Professions

The primary difference between classes in this game is whether or not they deal damage in melee or at range. Melee characters are bulkier, but they're also more easily hit by enemy attacks. Ranged characters have weaker defenses, but in general should take fewer hits.

Class Difficulty Levels

BeginnerIntermediateAdvanced
Berserker
Templar
Archer
Wizard
Assassin

Considering that beginner players might rely a bit more on auto-battle, we feel that the above difficulty rankings are accurate. Assassins, while melee, are also squishy, meaning they'll require more precise control. For this reason, we recommend a Berserker or Templar character be your first if you're not too familiar with this genre of game!

Recommended Professions By Playstyle

Best Reliable Auto-Battler

Berserker

If you're looking to do a lot of farming using auto battle, the Berserker's good balance of defensive bulk and physical power are your best bet. Due to being melee, he works well with Hannemorin (who you'll get from the story), making for a safe and stable battle experience.

For Fans Of Flashy Gameplay

Wizard

If you like to see spectacular, flashy effects come from your spells and abilities, the Wizard might be the profession for you. In addition to her attacks, she also brings an AoE debuff, meaning enemies that DO manage to get close to you will be impaired, leaving time for your Soul Linker to come to your aid.

For Those Who Prefer Safer Tactics

Archer

For players who want to play methodically and tactically while also staying safe, we recommend the Archer profession. All its skills are ranged, giving you a lot of room to decide how you want to approach enemies. The main difference between Archers and Wizards is that Archers aren't as dependent on having a melee Soul Linker to help them out.

Profession Descriptions

Characteristics of the Berserker

Berserker
Strengths
・High damage and defenses, good for beginners
・Very easy to use with auto-battle
Weaknesses
・Has a hard time in one-on-one fights with ranged enemies
・Is left with large gaps in-between attacks, not particularly agile

If you're looking for a standard DPSer to play, the Berserker will be your go-to. The Berserker's attacks are easy and straight forward to use, with nothing overly complicated to them. That being said, he is simply not as mobile as other characters. Luckily, he has the defensive capabilities to survive even when left on on autoplay mode.

Characteristics of the Templar

Templar
Strengths
・Defenses and resistances are quite high, hard to take down
・Easy to use on auto-battle mode
・Can have an offensively-built Soul Linker
Weaknesses
・Much lower DPS than other melee users
・Takes a long time to kill things on auto-battle mode

If you prefer to play solo and want to die as little as possible, the Templar is a good choice. His high defensive stats enable him to stay out for longer than most other classes. He can also act as a tank for group content by using moves to taunt and pull enemies!

Characteristics of the Assassin

Assassin
Strengths
・High attack, very agile
・Can deal extremely high damage on manual battle mode
・Stylish and extravagant fighting style
Weaknesses
・Not ideal for auto-battle mode
・Rather fragile in addition to being melee

Assassin is the recommended class for those of you who like fast-paced, flashy action-based combat. The assassin is very agile, able to dart in and out of fights easily, letting you pull off exciting combos and tricks. This class works best in manual combat mode!

Characteristics of the Wizard

Wizard
Strengths
・High damage, easy for beginners to use
・Has a variety of attacks, can handle most enemies
・Good group synergy with her AoE debuff
Weaknesses
・Rather weak if someone closes the gap on her
・Needs a Soul Linker to tank for her
・Requires careful management of skill cooldowns

The Wizard brings with her incredible, flashy spell effects to obliterate her enemies. In addition to her high damage, she also has an AoE debuff spell and is surprisingly versatile. Many of her skills do have cooldowns and long casttimes, however, so that might take getting used to.

Characteristics of the Archer

Archer
Strengths
・Can dps safely from a distance
・Easy to use on auto-battle mode
・Works well with almost any Soul Linker
Weaknesses
・Fragile if someone closes the distance on her
・Somewhat long cooldowns

The Archer is the perfect class for those who like to stay in the back and fight from a distance. If you make adept use of her dodge, the Archer can consistently evade enemy pursuit and take out enemies from afar.
