Things To Note When Choosing A Job
Professions Don't Affect Battle Royale Mode
Choosing a profession at the start of the game will not have any affect on your experience in the 30 player PvP Battle Royale mode! You can feel free to pick whichever profession you like the most.
Check Out Our Battle Royale Guide HereMelee and Ranged Professions
The primary difference between classes in this game is whether or not they deal damage in melee or at range. Melee characters are bulkier, but they're also more easily hit by enemy attacks. Ranged characters have weaker defenses, but in general should take fewer hits.
Class Difficulty Levels
Considering that beginner players might have to rely a bit more on auto-battle, we feel that the above difficulty rankings are accurate. Assassins, while melee, are also squishy, meaning they'll require more precise control. For this reason, we recommend a Berserker or Templar character be your first if you're not too familiar with this genre of game!
Recommended Professions By Playstyle
Best Reliable Auto-Battler
If you're looking to do a lot of farming using auto battle, the Berserker's good balance of defensive bulk and physical power are your best bet. Due to being melee, he works well with Hannemorin (who you'll get from the story), making for a safe and stable battle experience.

If you like to see spectacular, flashy effects come from your spells and abilities, the Wizard might be the profession for you. In addition to her attacks, she also brings an AoE debuff, meaning enemies that DO manage to get close to you will be impaired, leaving time for your Soul Linker to come to your aid.
For Those Who Prefer Safer Tactics
For players who want to play methodically and tactically while also staying safe, we recommend the Archer profession. All its skills are ranged, giving you a lot of room to decide how you want to approach enemies. The main difference between Archers and Wizards is that Archers aren't as dependent on having a melee Soul Linker to help them out.
Profession Descriptions
Characteristics of the Berserker
Strengths |
---|
・High damage and defenses, good for beginners ・Very easy to use with auto-battle on |
Weaknesses |
・Has a hard time in one-on-one fights with ranged enemies ・Is left with large gaps in-between attacks, not particularly agile |
If you're looking for a standard DPSer to play, the Berserker will be your go-to. The Berserker's attacks are easy and straight forward to use, with nothing overly complicated to them. That being said, he is simply not as mobile as other characters. Luckily, he has the defensive capabilities to survive even when left on on autoplay mode.
