Overview of Skills

Two Main Types Of Skills

Enhancement

There are two main types of skills in A3: Active skills, which you'll use in combat, and passive skills, which simply apply their effect without you doing anything. It also goes without saying that all skills will be entirely different depending on the profession you're playing!

How To Enhance Skills

Unlocking Skill Enhancement

Enhancement

In order to unlock both Active and Passive skill enhancement, you will have to clear chapter 2-17 and also reach level 25! Both of these are requirements, so make sure you're progressing through the story campaign!

Skill Enhancement Mechanics

Enhancement

Skills range in level from 1-35, with all skills starting at level 1. By using special items and gold, you'll be able to level up (enhance) your skills and make their effects stronger. This constitutes the main enhancement mechanic in A3, and it is quite important for your overall character progression.

すっぴんちゃんTipsThe higher your level is, the more gold and materials you'll need to level up skills! Prioritize leveling up the skills you use the most often.

Active Skill Enhancement

Enhancement

Enhancing active skills requires special red stone items called Active Skill Enhancement Stones. They come in 4 rarity levels, Common, Uncommon, Superior, and Rare, with the higher rarity ones providing more experience.

すっぴんちゃんTip!In order to unlock some active skills, you will need to level up an existing skill to a specific level! This means in addition to raising character level, raising skill level will also be necessary for getting higher level skills.

Passive Skill Enhancement

Enhancement

Enhancing passive skills requires blue stones called Passive Skill Enhancement Stones. These are also separated into 4 rarity levels; Common, Uncommon, Superior, and Rare. The higher quality the stone, the more experience you get.

すっぴんちゃんTip!Some passive skills will simply increase your character's base stats. These scale with your character level, so it's worth assertively upgrading these whenever you get some stones in your possession!

How To Get Enhancement Materials

Obtainable From Various Places

Enhancement

Enhancement Stones can be obtained from the overworld, quests, Altar Rift, and events. It's also possible to get them from some vendors in the Battle Royale Shop as well, so make sure to also check that regularly.

すっぴんちゃんTip!We recommend collecting stones by doing limited-attempt content like the Rift Altar, World Bosses, or other events. Do these methods untnil you've run out of attempts for the day/week!

Go For High Rarity Stones

The higher your skill level goes, the more experience (and therefore stones) you'll need to advance. Though they might be somewhat harder to get, you should prioritize doing harder content to get yourself Superior or Rare quality stones, as they give the most experience.
