A Dragon Tear is the last frozen tear of a dragon - unsurprisingly this can be obtained by killing the giant dragon boss, Moder.
Moder Only Found In Mountain Biome

To summon Moder, you'll have to place 3 Dragon Eggs at its sacrificial altar

If you collect 2 Dragon Tear, you can craft the Artisan Table which will allow you to craft the Blast Furnace, Windmill & Spinning wheel.
