Legendary Pokemon are unique Pokemon that only appear once in the game. They are very powerful and make for a valuable addition to your battle roster.

How To Get Legendary Pokemon

Unlike regular Pokemon, you cannot just throw a Poke Ball at Legendaries and hope they'll stay inside!

Step 1: Battle The Legendary Pokemon

Legendary Pokemon must be defeated in battle first before you get the opportunity to catch them. Study their weaknesses and take this into account when forming your team!

Step 2: Capture Option Appears After Winning

Pokemon Let

The option to capture the Legendary Pokemon will appear after you've successfully defeated it. Make sure to have a lot of Ultra Balls on hand. You'll need them!

Will Master Balls Be Available?

There's currently no information about the availability of a Master Ball in Pokemon Let's Go. This would certainly make catching Legendaries easier!

Make Legendary Pokemon Your Buddy

Once you've caught a Legendary Pokemon, you can explore Kanto region with them as your buddy! They'll follow you around as you walk!
