When you encounter Moltres, the Pokemon will be Level 50. Have your own Pokemon at this level and even higher to fend off Moltres's powerful Fire & Flying Type moves.

There are wild Moltres’s and probably wild of the other 3. I found and caught a wild Moltres high in the air on route 5 when looking to combo Jigglypuffs (Eevee version)
