Hoe - How To Get & Upgrade
Available On The 2nd Day
The Hoe is not a craftable item and is not sold in any shop. You get the Hoe during the second day from Victor. Press X to open your bag then select the Hoe to take it out.
Hoe Upgrades & Materials

You do not need to worry about breaking the hoe while using it. However, once you have the materials above, you can go to the Worker's Base Tool Shop in the village to upgrade it. Upgraded hoes greatly reduce the time required to till large patches of land.
How To Use The Hoe
Press Y To Till The Soil
Use the directional buttons to select the square that you want to till. Then press Y while having the Hoe equipped to till the soil.
Plant Seeds On Tilled Soil
After you till the soil using the Hoe, equip seeds then hover over the tilled soil to plant them. Remember to water the seeds daily until they can be harvested.

Once you upgrade to the Iron Hoe, you can charge up to till multiple squares. Upgrading the Hoe increases its range, allowing you to till a row of squares with a single strike.
Uncover Ores In The Mines
In the middle levels of the mines, you can spot ore mounds that you can interact with using the Hoe. Simply position yourself in front of the mound and press Y to dig up the ore buried underneath it.
