Choices That Can't Be Changed

Character & Farm Name Cannot Be Changed Once Chosen
Your player name, farm name, & facility names cannot be changed once they are set. Think carefully before naming any of these.
Birthday, Gender Choices Can't Be Redone
The player character's gender & birthday choices are final and cannot be changed mid-game.
Child's Name & Gender Choice Is Final
While you can choose the name & gender of your children, you cannot change them once the decision is made. Make sure to think clearly before making the call.

When you make a donation to the museum, you can choose the placement of your donated items. However, all choices are final and item placement cannot be changed once the choice is made, so think about where you want to put things before dropping off donations.

Difficulty Can Be Changed Mid-Game
You can change between various difficulties anytime in-game. Open the menu with "+" button and change the difficulty from the options menu.

Motorcycle Color Can Be Swapped
While your character's motorcycle will break down at the beginning of the game, it can be repaired as the town expands. Afterwards, you can customize its color as often as you like.
Character Appearance Can Be Redesigned
You can change your character's appearance in the Beauty Salon in town. You may need to upgrade these facilities to get more cosmetics options.
Marriages, Spouses Can Be Changed
By making a prayer at the above location (after unlocking the feature), you can opt to "make it so your marriage never happened". The game will then treat the marriage as never having taken place. You can then marry another spouse, or, if you want to, marry the same person again.
Unwanted Pets & Animals
Once you have released your animals there is no chance of getting them back and especially the happiness that you've formed with them will be lost forever, so always think before you release an animal back to the wild.
