Current Online Functionalities

Other Players Visit You As Tourists
When you turn on the online function, other players' characters will come to your village as NPC tourists. Although it's completely random which specific user shows up, those in your friends list will show up more often. That being said, the same user will only show up once per week.
Go To Other Players' Worlds As A Tourist
By setting up Travel Records at the Tourist Center, you can have your character show up at other players' towns as an NPC as well. Do note that your name & farm name will be public when you use this function.
Uploaded Photos Becomes Other Players' Load Screen
By taking photos and setting them as "Deliver Postcard" at the tourist center, they can show up on other players' loading screens! This is also a good way to flex your photography skills.
No Multiplayer At The Moment
While you can have your character go to other players' towns as an NPC, you currently cannot go to another player's game and directly interact with them. Thus, there is effectively no Multiplayer functionality at this current stage.
Share Pictures Of Your Farm
Since there's no multiplayer function in the game so far, it'll be up to players to create their own sense of community. Why not be a part of that by sharing pictures of your farm on our forum below? Show off what a cool farm you've made so that others can see it!

Change Settings From Options
Press the " + " key to open the Options menu to change the data settings. You can swap between Online and Offline at any time by doing this.
