Harder To Break With Higher Level
Higher level rocks containing higher level ores will get harder to break as the levels increase. To save stamina & time, upgrade your hammer whenever you can to increase ore farming efficiency.

Mines in each of the 3 areas will provide loads of rocks for players to break, with increasingly better loot the deeper the player gets. As items in Mines respawn daily, mining here is the fastest ways to get ores.

Once you've shipped a given ore, you can then purchase it at the General Store starting the next day. However, this is a very expensive way to get ores, so unless you are particularly loaded with cash, we would not recommend buying ores.

Turn Ores Into Ingots For Crafting
The main use of ores is to turn them into ingots which are then used in all sorts of buildings & upgrades. It takes 5 ores to create 1 ingot using Makers, so stockpile ores as much as you can.
Used For Crafting Items Or For Quest Turn Ins
Other uses of ores include using them directly in crafting recipes or giving them away to villagers as presents or to complete requests. These may grant you Friendship, Money, or other rewards.
