Prioritize Pulling for Sagan

The Gacha to pull when rerolling in Kaiju No. 8 is the Sagan Pick-Up Gacha. You can aim for the almost essential Tank for your team, and she is a valuable character as she can only be obtained for a limited-time.

Also Pull for [United Front] Hoshina Pickup

After pulling Sagan, we recommend pulling the [United Front] Soshiro Hoshina Pickup Gacha. He is a limited character who excels as a main Attacker in both boss and mob battles.

Pull THE GAME Gacha with Tickets

Pull THE GAME Gacha with the 25 "THE GAME Gacha Tickets" you get from the pre-registration campaign. It's recommended to use Dimensional Crystals for the Sagan Pickup Gacha.

Do the 5★ Exchange After Rerolling

The recommended time to use the 5★ selection exchange is after you've finished rerolling by pulling the Gacha with the initially distributed Gacha Tickets. Make sure to select a character with a role that you are missing.

Get a Character You Don't Have

When to Stop Rerolling

If You Pull Sagan, You Can Stop Rerolling

When rerolling in Kaiju No. 8, it's okay to stop as soon as you pull Sagan. Sagan is a Defender who is easy to use from the early game, and can deal damage with her counter while protecting allies. She is a character you'll want to aim for due to being a limited-time character with a wide range of uses.

Pulling Her Shield is a Great Bonus

Sagan's weapon, "SH-Iuggnil," is also a limited weapon. Currently, the only 5-Star Shield weapon is available from the Sagan Gacha so you'll want to pull for it. Aim for it during your reroll, or with the Dimensional Crystals you collect after starting the game.

Stop if You Get Both Kaiju No. 8 and Narumi

Even though they are permanent characters, if you pull the powerful Kaiju No. 8 and Gen Narumi together, it's okay to stop rerolling. Rerolling for permanent characters is generally not recommended, but if you get these two top-tier units, you can consider stopping.

How to Reroll

*This is the time required when skipping optional sections.

1. Download the App from the Store
2. Clear Chapter 0, Episode 3
3. Play the Gacha & Squad Setup Tutorial
4. Ignore 'Deploy' and Return to Home Screen
5. Claim Tickets from Mail and Login Bonus
6. Go to Gacha and Pull
7. To Reroll Again, Delete Your Account
8. Keep Rerolling for Your Desired Character(s)

The most efficient reroll method in Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME is to claim tickets from the Mail and Login Bonus, pull from the Gacha right after completing the Gacha and Squad Setup tutorials, and repeat.

Clear up to Chapter 0, Episode 3

After the cutscene, a battle begins. Follow the tutorial instructions to progress and clear up to Episode 0‑3.

Play the Gacha & Squad Setup Tutorial

After clearing 0‑3, the Gacha and Squad Setup tutorial starts. You will receive a 4★ Soshiro Hoshina after completing the Gacha tutorial.

Return to the Home screen

Ignore the 'Deploy' prompt and tap the top-left button on the Squad Setup screen to return Home.

Claim Tickets from Mail and Login Bonus

Back on the Home screen, claim 1 PU (Pickup) Gacha Ticket from 'THE GAME: Initiation' on the Events, then return to Home. Next, open Mail at the top right and tap 'Collect All' to claim your rewards.

Go to Gacha and Pull

After claiming your rewards, go to the Gacha and do a 10‑pull on the Sagan Shinomiya Pickup Gacha and a 25‑pull on THE GAME (Standard) Gacha. Then use any remaining Dimensional Crystals and 1 Pickup Gacha Ticket on the Sagan Shinomiya Pickup Gacha.

To Reroll Again, Delete Your Account

If you want to continue rerolling, return to the title screen, select the menu, and choose 'Delete Account'. After tapping OK, press 'Agree and Delete' on the screen that appears to complete the account deletion.

Repeat Rerolling Until You Get Your Target

Keep rerolling until you get the character you want. When finished, be sure to Link Your Account.
