Air Royale LTM - Overview
In show-stopping dogfights, players have to climb aboard Fortnite's X-4 Stormwing and be the last pilot standing to control the island's air space. Free challenges will be up & will reward players with XP and brand new Wraps!
Challenges Last For 7 Days
The Air Royale LTM challenges are free and will last for one week in the game - giving players plenty of time to earn the XP and Wraps rewards.
Air Royale LTM - Review
Players who haven't experienced flying the X-4 Storming may find this LTM challenging. Keeping your plane in flight is a must as touching the ground will instantly eliminate you.
Air Royale - Traits & Features
Last Pilot In Flight Gains Victory
Air Royale is just like Fortnite's Battle Royale mode but you must be in the air to gain victory. Shoot down fellow pilots and be the last pilot left to rule the skies above the island.
Players Have 3 Lives
Players will be given 3 chances to work towards the win. Their X-4 Stormwing will have 3 lives and players can keep respawning until their plane's last life.
Instant Elimination Upon Landing
Players will be instantly eliminated when their plane touches the ground. If they park the plane for more than a few seconds, this will cause it to explode and instantly take down one (or their last) life.
Storm Ceiling Lowers As Match Goes On
The Storm's ceiling will go down as the match continues onward. Players should be careful not to fly too high, especially when the game has been going on for a good period of time.
Get Loot From Chest Drops
Players will be able to get loot - gun upgrades & plane weapon boosts - from chests dropping from the sky. To collect the loot, you just need to fly through it.
Receive Additional Ammo If You Already Have Dropped Weapon
If you already have the weapon that was dropped by the chest, you'll be given additional ammo instead.
Fly Through Floating Repair Kits For Health & Shield
Floating Repair Kits will be available in this LTM. Flying through these will repair damaged planes and give health & shield to their pilots.
