Soaring Modes are new Limited Time Modes first introduced in Fortnite's 5.21 August 15 Update! This Frantic LTM will lessen your time on the ground by letting you take to the skies more often!

Mobility Focused Gameplay
Be in the air more often! Mobility is the name of the game in this LTM! Other than having the same mechanics as the usual Battle Royale modes, you will have different tools at your disposal to keep yourself off the ground!

No need to fear great heights because in this mode, you can deploy the glider when you're falling at 10m [About two Stairs high] and above! Just press the jump button to deploy it while you're in the air.
Check Out How To Descend Faster HereHigher Spawn Rate for Bouncers, Impulse Grenades
Impulse Grenade spawn rate has been doubled for Treasure Chests and can now appear as Floor loot. Launch Pads and Bouncers are more likely to spawn as well.

Introduced in v5.30, Shockwave Grenades will give you much better height than the Impulse Grenade. Deploy them in elevated areas to give you more glide time when you deploy your Glider.

- Same loot, ammo and resource levels
- When in mid-air and greater than 10m up, press Jump to deploy your glider
- Added Impulse Grenades to chests at double the standard spawn rate
- Added Impulse Grenades to floor loot
- Decreased Spike Trap spawn chances
- Increased Launch Pad & Bounce Pad spawn chances
- Profile Stats (K/D & Wins) are not tracked in this mode

Tips To Win In Soaring Modes
Fly to Escape the Storm
You can explore the edges of the map and stay far from the eye until the last minute. Gliding allows you to escape the Storm much faster than the usual land routes.
Build To Fly
Building stairs high enough will let you redeploy your glider when you jump off! Gather lots of materials to make high stairs and cover lots of ground!
