The challenge doesn't require you to be a specific user of the BRUTE. You can either be the passenger or the driver and it will count towards the challenge.

BRUTE Location is Random per Match
BRUTEs do not have a static spawn point, meaning they appear randomly in a match. You won't be able to find BRUTEs in the same place as where you found them a match before.
Check Mini Map for Spawn Location
The BRUTEs will show up in the mini map as soon as they spawn in. You can use this to track their location and if they're in use. The BRUTE icon will disappear if it's being piloted already.
2 BRUTEs Spawn Every Match
There will always be 2 BRUTEs that will spawn in a match on most game modes. In Team Rumble, each side will have a BRUTE Spawn.
