Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered - Gameplay Details
Multiplayer-Focused Final Fantasy
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was first released as a title for the Nintendo GameCube, then going on to have 5 sequels on different consoles and generations. The game sets itself apart from other Final Fantasy titles as it focuses on bringing together up to 4 players and having them cooperate with each other to beat dungeons and difficult bosses.
Defend The World & Your Hometown From Miasma
FFCC Story Summary
Since long ago, the dangerous gas miasma has threatened to consume the world. Crystals hold back the gas, but their power is not eternal. Follow the journey of four classes of adventurers on a perilous mission to protect their home. These are the "Crystal Chronicles."
In FFCC, the world has been afflicted with "Miasma", a cloud of gas that kills anyone it touches except monsters. With this ever-present danger, towns are forced to rely on the safety of their crystals to ward off the miasma. But as these crystals require more energy every year, groups of people called "caravans" are sent outside to collect the highly valuable "myrrh" to extend the crystal's protection.
Fight Around The Crystal Chalice
The caravan (player party) makes use of a crystal chalice to keep them safe when traveling inside dungeons to ward off threats and enemies. Going out of the chalice's range steadily decreases your HP, making it necessary to carefully plot out your team's formation and roles.
Cooperate With Your Team!
FFCC has a system that allows players can make use of powerful combos such as using all characters to cast multiple spells to deal heavy damage. Utilizing these combos and cooperating with your team is key if you wish to overcome the new challenging dungeons and bosses.
