What Are High Difficulty Dungeons / Bonus Dungeons?

New Addition To FFCC Remastered

High Difficulty Dungeons are one of the new features introduced in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered. To unlock high difficulty dungeons, you must first complete all the story dungeons.

Test Your Skills

High Difficulty Dungeons are made specifically for seasoned veterans. Players will be able to choose an alternate variation of story dungeons. High Difficulty dungeon are great for testing one's player skills for they are, as the name goes, extremely difficult.

New Equipment Scrolls & Artifacts Available

The High Difficulty Dungeons will also have all new powerful loots for you to collect. These include Scroll recipe for new weapons, armors, accessories, and even new Artifacts to collect!

Enemy Location & Patterns Change

The enemies in the High Difficulty Dungeon will be swapped around and boss may also use an all new attack pattern.

Chest Location Will Also Be Altered

Depending on the dungeon, the treasure chest location and contents may also be changed.

Falling Leaves Path

Strategy Points

• One of the easier Bonus dungeons.
• Increasing lightning resistance will make it easier than the last story dungeon.
• Recipe drops are mostly lightning equipments.

The Goblin Festival

Strategy Points

• One of the most difficult dungeon.
• Curse Resistant Armor is required. (Without this, you can get one hit by mobs.)

Miasma Pit

Strategy Points

• You will need petrify resist for both mobs and the boss.
• Small chance that Holy Ring would drop from Treasure Chest.
• You can get the recipe for Clavat's strongest equipment here.

Toadstool Forest

Strategy Points

• One of the easier Bonus Dungeon.
• Defeat the enemies one by one so you could not get surrounded.
• There is not much change with the boss's fight pattern.
• Recipe drops are mostly fire equipments.

Oblivion Village

Strategy Points

• One of the easier bonus dungeon.
• Easier if you have Ice resist.
• Recipe drops are mostly ice equipments.

Dinner Party

Strategy Points

• A boss battle only dungeon.
• No huge change in the boss's battle style.
• Have at least two ice resistant equipment.
• Most of the recipe drops are curse resistant equipments.

Misty Mount Kilanda

Strategy Points

• Make lightning resistance over +2.
• For the goblin swarm, pull and defeat them one by one.
• Ignore the huge monster fighting with the boss.
• Since the map is huge, you can just run towards the boss.
• Yuke's strongest weapon can drop here.

Afternoon Fort

Strategy Points

• The boss battle will have a lot of fire attacks so equip fire resistant armor.
• The boss area is unlocked by defeating two monsters in the east and the west.
• Most of the drops are petrify resistant equipments.

Pale Cave

Strategy Points

• Easier when you have more than 2 lightning resist.
• You can sneak pass mobs.

Frozen Sluice

Strategy Points

• Have more than 2 Ice resist.
• Fire attacks are effective to most monsters.
• Use magic to fight the boss.

Moonlit Desert

Strategy Points

• Have more than 2 Ice resist.
• Since the map is huge, you can just run towards the boss.
• Lilty's strongest equipments drops here.

Foggy Swamp

Strategy Points

• Have more than 2 Fire resist.
• You can run pass by map 1.
• Selkie's strongest equipments drops here.

Rainy Ruins

Strategy Points

• Have +2 Fire Resistance
• Map 1 & 3 have area to bypass enemies
