How to Get Weapons
New Weapons are Forged
Apart from the weapons that are received during the opening sequence of the game, newly added weapons must be crafted via the forging system.
Quest Rewards
Some Weapons are granted as quest rewards, such as the Osteobreaker or the Screamshot which are awarded as part of the main story.

1. Gather Secret Letters
Think of Secret Letters like gachas that you need to pull from in order to get your desired Weapon or Character. Each Secret Letter contains pieces of specific characters or Weapons, so make sure to gather them as needed.
| Tip! | Buy 10 initially to save yourself some time later. Depending on your luck, it typically takes over 10 runs to gather all the parts you need. |

Purchase Using Secret Letter Clues
One of the easier ways to acquire Secret Letters is by purchasing them from the Shop using Secret Letter Clues. Be sure to check out our farming guide below as there are numerous ways to collect Secret Letter Clues.

Once you have a couple Secret Letters, head to the Covert Commissions screen. Remember to choose the Secret Letter of the Weapon you want, then complete the Covert Commission for a chance to get the material you need.
Expect Multiple Runs
Weapons require multiple parts of varying rarities to craft with the Blueprint being the hardest to acquire. Therefore, you should expect to run Covert Commissions multiple times before you're able to gather all the necessary crafting materials.

In addition to the weapon parts, you will also need either Projectiles (Ranged) or Sharpening Potions (Melee) to craft your weapon. These components also need to be crafted, so be sure to gather the necessary items to craft these additional weapon components.
4. Craft Your Desired Weapon
After gathering all the Weapon's parts and crafting Projectiles or Sharpening Potions, you're ready to craft your weapon!
Crafting Takes Time
In addition to the time spent gathering the weapon parts and crafting materials, crafting the final weapon itself typically takes 3 hours. So you will have to wait a little longer before you can use your new weapon.

The Nocturnal Echoes are Weekly Bosses with rewards that can only be claimed 5 times a week! Defeat the Weekly Boss at the level that drops your desired Secret Letter.
How to Unlock Forge
Complete Special Side Quest
The Forge system is unlocked by completing the first Special Side Quest: The Wandering Luno
. Once completed, you can access the blacksmith from the menu, or visit them at your Sanctuary.
