The Sandrealm Meditation is a training room
where you can simulate combat in a controlled environment. By entering the Gritty Vortex
, players can spawn customized enemies and test their damage and builds.
How to Use Sandrealm Meditation
1. Enter Sandrealm Meditation
To enter Sandrealm Meditation, teleport to or enter Sanctuary and proceed to the very back of the room where you'll find a floating Remanent Reminiscence. Interact with the sword to enter Sandrealm Meditation.
2. Customize Parameters and Settings

| Enemy Level adjusts the levels of the spawned enemies. Invincible toggles immortality for the player character. Enemy Active Mode toggles enemy AI between activeand idle. |
Once inside, press F4 to open the Meditation Menu
where you can tailor the combat environment for your testing and training needs.

| F1: Character Skills Allows the player to read and brush up on the skills of the currently deployed character. F4: Meditation Menu Opens up the Meditation Menu for tailoring the simulation. F5: Defeat All Enemies Removes all currently spawned enemies from the Gritty Vortex. C: Armoury/Character Select Allows players to swap between characters and builds. ESC: Menu/Exit Sandrealm Meditation Accesses the menu where players can customize game settings and exit Sandrealm Meditation. |
Entering the Gritty Vortex
triggers new controls available to the player to make Sandrealm Meditation more convenient to use! Use the above controls to quickly adjust the simulation to your needs.
Can Only Spawn 20 Enemies Max
While players can spawn multiple enemies from different factions, only 20 can be present within the Gritty Vortex at any given time.
Can Only Deploy Unlocked Characters
Since players can only deploy characters they already own, Sandrealm Meditation cannot be used as a testing grounds for new and upcoming characters.
3. Begin Simulated Combat
Once the enemies spawn in, players can proceed with combat as they normally would. There are also nearby items that players can use to top up their HP and Sanity levels to refresh themselves for any following tests.
How to Unlock Sandrealm Meditation
Proceed through Prologue
Sandrealm Meditation is unlocked once the players enter Sanctuary for the first time, shortly after meeting Psyche during the Prologue of the main story.
