This is a guide to Impressions in Duet Night Abyss (DNA). Read ahead to learn about the Impression system, as well as how to gain impressions and what Impressions are used for!
During Main Quest, Side Quest, and NPC Dialogues, certain choices will affect your social image and be reflected through an evaluation system consisting of 5 dimensions: Benefit, Morality, Wisdom, Empathy, and Chaos.
Needed for Impression Checks
Similar to dialogue checks in BG3, Impression Checks are chance-based dialogue choices in which you must successfully roll a certain number to proceed. These Impression Checks appear in side quests and NPC dialogues, and passing them grants the player rewards.
What to Do if You Fail
Increasing your Impression points in each of the 5 dimensions increases your chances of successfully rolling your die. Furthermore, you can always use Dice forged by the Lunosmith to try again.
How to Get Impression Points
Participate in Dialogue
Impressions and Impression Points can be increased by making certain dialogue choices. Depending on how you respond to NPCs or the choices you make in-game, one of the 5 dimensions will increase in points.
Just Play the Game
Impression Points will increase naturally as you play through the many quests of Duet Night Abyss. Simply explore the world and speak to NPCs to eventually gain Impression Points.
