How To Unlock Friends
Complete Black Iron and White Flower
To unlock the Friends feature along with the Co-op Function in Duet Night Abyss, you need to progress through the story until you reach Trial Rank 19 and complete all of the Black Iron and White Flower main quests. Take note that you will also need to complete sub quests, In the Depths of Winter and Dedicated Chef.
Available After On a Gentle Breeze
After completing the On a Gentle Breeze main quest, the Friends feature becomes available, allowing you to add, view, and interact with other players you encounter in the game.

Open Menu
On the main gameplay screen, locate the Menu icon in the top-left corner. You can tap it on mobile or press the Esc key on PC to open the menu.
Select Friends
After opening the Menu, locate and tap the Friends button. This will take you to your Friends List, where you can view existing friends, see pending friend requests, or add new friends using their UID.
Add Friends
You can add new friends either by accepting Friend Requests or by opening the Add Friends tab, where you can search for players using their UIDs and send requests directly. When starting out, you can also tap the Add Now button to quickly begin adding friends.
Add Players You Recently Played With
You can also see and connect with players you may have previously teamed up with during public co-op missions in dedicated areas of the game.
You Can Also Check Your Friends List
Inside the Friends menu, you can also view your current Friends List, showing all players you’ve added or connected with. Each friend’s profile displays their player name and status, letting you know whether they’re currently online or offline.

Play in Co-Op Multiplayer Mode
By adding friends, you can easily team up for co-op missions, making challenging quests and bosses more manageable. Forming a team party with friends also allows for better coordination, strategy sharing, and faster completion of in-game objectives.
Friends Cross-Platform
Can You Crosssplay with Friends?
You can cross-play with friends on different platforms, but you need to be on the same server to do so. Make sure you and your friends select the same server before starting the game.
