How To Level Up Characters
Level Up In The Armoury
Leveling characters can be done in the Armoury! Select the character your want to upgrade and select "Upgrade" to level them up.
Armoury Is Unlocked After Clearing The Tutorial
The Armoury is not immediately available upon starting the game. You will have to first clear the tutorial and meet Camilla and Snow to access it.
Will Require Materials & Coin
Every time you level up a character, it will use level up materials and coin to do so. The amount varies depending on how many levels you are going up.
Level Up Materials Give Different XP
Each of the Combat Melodies give a certain amount of XP with the higher tier ones giving the most. When leveling up a character, it automatically selects which Level Up Material it uses.

How To Get Level Up Materials
The main way to get Level Up Materials is by clearing a specific Commission. However, Commissions only become available once you complete the Chapter Noctovoyager Chapter 1 (Main Story).
Once you've unlocked Commissions, you can then run the Hedge Commission which will reward you with Level Up Materials. The higher its level, the better the rewards, but it does become challenging so be prepared.
How To Remove Level Cap
Reach Specific Trial Level
First, players will have to be at a certain Trial Level in order to ascend their characters. For example, for the first ascension, you will need to be Trial Level 15.
Use Required Ascension Materials
Each character has a specific set of Ascension Materials needed to ascend. You can view what each character needs through their Ascend option in the Armoury.
