Lagging? Crashing? Let’s Fix Duet Night Abyss Fast

Are you experiencing problems in Duet Night Abyss? From low FPS and screen tearing to launcher failures, these issues can ruin your experience before it even begins.
But don't worry! We've put together a quick and easy guide to troubleshoot the most frustrating performance problems. Let's fix these issues and get you back to playing!
Losing Frames?

If your frames are tanking despite having a decent GPU, check your FSR (AMD) or DLSS (Nvidia) settings. For FSR, Duet Night Abyss doesn’t offer the usual Performance/Balance/Quality presets but just a simple On/Off toggle. If you're experiencing frame drops, try toggling this setting on or off.
If that doesn’t help, try to lower some settings, including Shadow Quality, Visual Effects Quality, Crowd Density, and Texture Quality.
Screen Tearing Fix

The usual suspect behind screen tearing is V-sync. Try toggling it on or off to see which setting works best for your setup. Additionally, if your monitor supports it, you can enable Adaptive Sync, G-Sync (for NVIDIA), or FreeSync (for AMD) to help smooth out frame delivery and reduce tearing.
Game Won't Launch From Epic Games?

If you're having problems launching the game from Epic Games, what you need to do is uninstall the game and delete the entire installation folder manually. After that, download the Duet Abyss Night launcher direct from the official site instead.
If the same problem persists, your best bet is to get the game from Steam. However, you will have to wait a couple of days, since there's no official announcement for a Steam release date.
