Combat Commissions guide for Duet Night Abyss. Learn what Commissions are, how to farm efficiently, tips, and get upgrade materials from different Commission types in DNA.
What Are Combat Commissions?
Challenges That Drop Upgrade Materials

Combat Commissions are challenges that reward you with various upgrade materials. Each Challenge drops different materials, so always check the rewards list to target the ones you need most.
How to Access Commissions

You can access Commissions by tapping the "Combat" icon at the top right of the screen or selecting "Combat" from the main menu. From there, you can view available Commissions, check their difficulty, and claim rewards after completion.
Match With Other Players

Tap the "Match" button beside "Start Challenge" to enter matchmaking. This allows you to complete Commissions together, making it easier to clear tougher stages and farm materials faster. Up to 3 players can participate in a match.
Preset Loadout

You can select a Preset Loadout before starting a Commission. Use the Preset Loadout feature to quickly select your preferred team setup, including characters, weapons, and equipment. This helps you switch between different builds without having to manually re-equip each time.
Auto-Summon

When Auto-Summon is enabled, your Preset Loadout will automatically summon suitable Combat Partners when entering a Commission. This saves time and ensures you always have an optimal team ready.
Tips for Challenging Commissions
Prioritize Basic Materials Early Game

In DNA’s Commissions, Hedge and Termination stages are highly recommended early on, as they provide essential upgrade materials. Leveling up offers significant stat boosts, so prioritize farming these to strengthen your characters and weapons faster.
How To Level Up CharactersNo Stamina Required
Commissions in DNA don’t consume Stamina, allowing you to farm materials infinitely. However, note that some Commissions only become available after meeting specific conditions or progressing in the story.
Make Sure to Select the Correct Drops

Some Commissions allow you to choose which materials you want to farm. Check the enemy’s element type and drop details at the bottom before starting the challenge to ensure you’re getting the right materials.
Higher Difficulty Gives Better Rewards

Raising your Trial Rank unlocks higher difficulty Commissions. These tougher stages not only drop new materials but also improve drop efficiency for existing ones. Once your Trial Rank is high enough, focus on farming harder Commissions for better rewards.
Get Forging Materials by Defeating Enemies

Aside from the completion rewards, you can also obtain Forging Materials by defeating enemies during a Commission. These drops are displayed on the rewards screen after completing the stage.
Use Commission Manuals to Increase Drops

Before starting a Commission, you will be prompted to a selection screen where you can choose to use Commission Manuals that can grant bonus drops. Use this when you want to farm materials faster and more efficiently.
