Pinsir Deck (Starter) Strategy

  1. Start with a Pokemon that Attacks with 1 Energy
  2. Develop Pinsir and Parasect on the Bench
  3. Attack with Pinsir or Parasect Once They're Ready
Start with a Pokemon that Attacks with 1 Energy
  1. Farfetch
  2. Scyther

Select a Pokemon with a 1 Energy attack, such as Farfetch'd or Scyther, to place in the Active Spot first.

Develop Pokemon on the Bench
  1. Pinsir
  2. Paras
  3. Parasect

Place Pinsir or Paras on the Bench and attach the necessary Energy for them to attack. When you draw Parasect, use it to evolve Paras.

Attack with Pinsir or Parasect Once They're Ready
  1. Pinsir
  2. Parasect

Once Pinsir or Parasect is ready to attack, switch them into the Active Spot and start attacking.

Exeggutor and Exeggutor ex can evolve from Exeggcute, so consider prioritizing them in your deck. Scyther and Farfetch'd are excellent as early-game attackers, making a second copy a viable choice.
