High Ground
The high ground offers numerous advantages for players. From that height, it makes it harder for enemies on low ground to shoot you, while you can rain gunfire on them easily.

What an advantage it is to be able to shoot enemies without know being able to shoot you back!
Examples Bad Positioning
Bad positioning is where you are at a disadvantage and can get punished for it by the enemies.
Right in the Open
Don't get caught in the open! Enemies can easily gun you down while you're out in the open.
Being at the Low Ground
Below high ground, the disadvantage is being unable to shoot as accurately at an inclined angle. You are also relatively easy to gun down from the high ground even with cover.
Positioning is Crucial at Endgame
Towards the endgame where the area is continuously being limited, positioning is vital in order to control space and pressure enemies. This will help raise your chances of winning.

High Ground
Being on the High Ground makes it harder for enemies to shoot you, while making it easier for you shoot down at them. Take control of mountains or hills, and if there's no high ground, make your own!

Control areas where there are environmental covers like buildings or trees. The environment will provide additional cover for you so you can focus on gunning down enemies instead of just building.
Positioning with the Storm
Middle of the Storm's Eye
Once the eye has shrunk enough, make your fort right at the middle and pressure enemies trying to run for the center. Keep track of enemy numbers and positions to keep yourself from being flanked.

If you're unequipped for big battles, keep yourself safe by staying at the edge of the storm and moving along with it. However, there's a risk that enemies in the middle might see you coming
