How To Defeat Slammin' Lid

Get On Top Of The Disk And Attack The Pilot

Check when green circles appear and walk into the barrier under the Slammin' Lid, then quickly dodge when the craft drops down to splat you. Climb to the top and attack the pilot once it gets down to the ground.

Note That Smaller Salmonids Will Appear

You should aim to eliminate smaller salmonids while keeping an eye on the state of the other boss salmonids since Slammin' Lid will cause more small salmonids to appear the longer you leave it unattended.
