Gyro Vs Stick - Which Is Better?
Motion Control Is Recommended Over Stick
It's recommended to play Splatoon 3 with the Motion Control feature. Reaction speed is easier with the Motion Control compared to the stick, and it's easier to be more accurate with your shots.
Beginner Motion Control Recommendation: -1~1
It will take a bit of practice to get used to the Motion Control feature. It's best to start with a sensitivity setting of -1 to 1 to better get used to the Motion Control first as a beginner.

Adjust Based On Your Aim
Once you get used to the Motion Control feature, gradually increase your Motion Control sensitivity according to your aim. Basically, the higher the sensitivity, the faster the possible response speed will be.
Viewpoint Reset With Y Button
Press the Y Button to reset the viewpoint and return the camera to face front. Repeat, reset, and explore the optimal sensitivity for your aim.
Fine Adjustments Depending On Weapons & Switch Mode
Appropriate sensitivity changes are recommended depending on the Weapons and Switch Mode (TV or Handheld) you play in. Don't forget to fine tune your sensivity depending on the Switch Mode and the weapons you use.
If It Doesn't Fit, Try Lowering Sensitivity
If the sensitivity is too fast, try lowering it. Adjust the sensitivity to figure out how fast or slow will make it easier for you to play with.
Use The Two targets At The Shooting Range As A Guide

Motion Control Sensitivity can be changed by opening the options menu. It's recommended to set it together with your camera operation.
Set in TV/Handheld Mode
Options can be set in TV mode and Handheld mode. Especially those who play in both should not forget to set them up when switching between the modes.
Motion Control Operation Can Also Be Turned Off
If you are not used to Motion Control operation, you can turn off the Motion Control feature through the Options menu. The camera will be controlled through the stick, so check your camera settings as well.
