Gyro Vs Stick - Which Is Better?

Motion Control Is Recommended Over Stick

It's recommended to play Splatoon 3 with the Motion Control feature. Reaction speed is easier with the Motion Control compared to the stick, and it's easier to be more accurate with your shots.

Beginner Motion Control Recommendation: -1~1

It will take a bit of practice to get used to the Motion Control feature. It's best to start with a sensitivity setting of -1 to 1 to better get used to the Motion Control first as a beginner.

Once you get used to the Motion Control feature, gradually increase your Motion Control sensitivity according to your aim. Basically, the higher the sensitivity, the faster the possible response speed will be.

Viewpoint Reset With Y Button

Press the Y Button to reset the viewpoint and return the camera to face front. Repeat, reset, and explore the optimal sensitivity for your aim.

Fine Adjustments Depending On Weapons & Switch Mode

Appropriate sensitivity changes are recommended depending on the Weapons and Switch Mode (TV or Handheld) you play in. Don't forget to fine tune your sensivity depending on the Switch Mode and the weapons you use.
