Send Invites To Friends

To play with friends, you need to add friends between Nintendo accounts. If you add them as friends, you can play the game at any time.

How To Add Friends

1. Choose Your Own Icon In The Home Menu


After opening the Switch's HOME menu, select your icon.

2. Select Add Friends on My Page


After selecting the icon, open my page and select "Add Friend".

3. Select How To Send A Friend Request And Apply


Choose how to send a friend request from Add Friends. If you want to become friends with someone you have met online, ask them for their friend code and enter it.

How To Check Friend ID



To check your friend code, open your profile on My Page. You will find the code in the "Friend Code" section of your profile.

Accepting Friend Requests

1. Choose Your Own Icon In The Home Menu


When you open the Switch HOME menu, select your icon.

2. Select "Add Friend" → "Apply"


Select the icon to open My Page. If you select "Add friend" and a friend request has been received, a message "Friend request has been received" will be displayed, so follow the instructions on the screen to register as a friend.

1. Select The Rules You Want To Participate In


When playing with a friend, first select the rules to participate in.

2. Select With Friends With The Right D-Pad


By pressing the right side of the D-Pad, the notation will change to "with friends", so press OK after confirming.

3. Select A Friend To Join From The Friend List


A friend list will appear, so choose the friends you want to play with and join them.

Can Also Create A Room

Instead of joining up with a friend, you can create a room with the Y button then wait for your friend to join. Set a password and wait for your friends to come!

You Can Join Friend's Ghost

Online friends and current teammates appear as flat, hologram-like ghosts in the lobby. You can talk to a ghost and join their lobby.

Needs To Pick The Same Camp In Splatfest

To play with friends during Splatfest, you must have selected the same camp. Only Regular Battle will be restricted, so Salmon Run and other games can be played as usual.
