How To Test Weapons
Can Be Do In The Weapons Shop, Lobby, And The Shoal

Testing the weapons can be done from the Weapons Shop, Lobby, and The Shoal. The Shoal can be accessed when offline, but the Weapons Shop and the Lobby are only available online.
Go To Test Area From The X Button Menu
Press the X Button to display the map. Align the cursor to the area you want to go to, then press the A Button to fast travel there! It can be used when you don't know the location.
Can Also Test Weapons In The Weapons Shop

In the online Weapons Shop, you can freely test the weapons by pressing the Y Button when selecting them with your cursor. The major feature here is that you can test weapons that you have not purchased yet.
Can Pratice Shots In The Test Range

The Lobby in The Shoal has an area near the entrance. Here you can freely test weapons. You can change weapons you want to test by pressing the + Button at any time.

Weapon Aim Practice
There are squid targets in Splatoon 3's Test Range that you can practice your aim with. Since killing enemies is also important besides painting the battlefield, it's best to practice it!
Targets Will Revive
The Squid Targets will be revived after a certain period of time pass after they are defeated. You can continuously practice your aim because you can defeat them as many times as you want.
Grasp How Each Weapons Work

In the Test Range, you can not only check the amount of damage and range of weapons but also freely fire the Sub Weapons and Special Weapons. This allows you to grasp each weapon's performance, especially the new ones.
You Can Freely Clean Up

Ink you've painted in the test room can be clean up. After using Special Weapons, move to the right from the L Button menu, select the Coating Reset and press the A Button. This will put the Test Range in a clear state!
