What You Need to Farm
For farming Blacephalon, you only need a Pokemon with the Synchronize Ability. If you have a Pokemon with Synchronize at the front of your party when you encounter Blacephalon, there's a 50% chance it will have the same Nature as the Synchronize Pokemon.

How to Obtain Blacephalon
Blacephalon can be obtained during the Ultra Recon Squad event after entering the Hall of Fame.
Two Blacephalon Can Be Obtained
You can obtain up to two Blacephalon per playthrough.
Recommended to Postpone Catching
You can catch it when the event occurs, but by running away both times, you can forcibly end the event and postpone soft resetting. It's difficult to prepare when the event occurs, so it's recommended to run away both times and soft reset later.
Obtainment Method and Location Don't Change
Even if you run away both times and postpone soft resetting, you will still encounter and catch it in Poni Grove.
Farming Procedure
- Make your Synchronize Pokemon faint and place it at the front of your party.
- Place your battling Pokemon second in your party.
- Go to Poni Grove.
- (*)Use a Max Repel and then save.
- Enter a patch of grass, encounter it, and then capture it.
- Check its Nature and actual stats.
- If it's not ideal, reset (press L+R+Select simultaneously) and repeat from step 4.

Blacephalon has very high Special Attack but low defenses. It needs to act first and defeat opponents before taking damage, so the Timid Nature, which increases Speed, is recommended.
Target Actual Stats
If Blacephalon has the stats in the table below when you catch it, it's an ideal individual. Since Blacephalon doesn't use physical attacks, a low Attack stat is not a problem.
