Pokemon USUM | How to Speedrun the Elite Four - Best Party & Held Items - GameWith

This article introduces parties and held items for speedrunning the Elite Four in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. If you want to speedrun after entering the Hall of Fame, please refer to this.

Table of Contents

Prioritize Attack and Speed Base Stats

In Pokemon, higher Speed allows you to attack first. Also, a higher Attack base stat makes it easier to deal massive damage. Choose Pokemon with high Speed and Attack base stats to deliver high-damage preemptive strikes.

Use High-Power Moves

Each Pokemon move has its own power. The higher the power, the greater the damage dealt. Choose high-damage moves to defeat opponents in as few turns as possible.

Prioritize Same-Type Attack Bonus (STAB)

When a Pokemon's type matches the type of its move, the damage increases (Same-Type Attack Bonus). High power is important, but matching the Pokemon's type with the move's type allows you to deal even greater damage.

Use Mega Evolution and Z-Moves

Z-Moves, which can deal powerful damage, and Mega Evolution are effective for forcibly breaking through opponents. Both can be easily obtained, so make sure you can use them.

Z-Crystals and Mega Stones are easier to get, so start by having your Pokemon hold these items for speedrunning.

Speedrun the Elite Four Faster

The Elite Four (Pokemon League) can be challenged even after entering the Hall of Fame. From the second time onwards, the opponents' Pokemon are stronger than they were the first time.

You Can Level Up by Speedrunning

The main reason to speedrun the Elite Four is for leveling up. You need to clear it multiple times to earn experience points for your Pokemon.

You Can Also Earn Prize Money

Speedrunning the Elite Four allows you to earn prize money. You can use the money you save to buy Poke Balls, collect TMs, get clothes, and various other things.
