Having this item increases your chances of encountering Shiny Pokemon. It also increases the probability of Eggs obtained from the Pokemon Nursery hatching into Shiny Pokemon.
How to Get the Shiny Charm
First, Complete the Alola Pokedex
To get the Shiny Charm, you need to complete the Alola Pokedex. If you have data from the previous games "Sun and Moon," you can easily register Pokemon.
Show the Pokedex to the Game Director
Once the Alola Pokedex is complete, go to the Dimensional Research Lab in Heahea City on Akala Island. Game Freak is on the 2nd floor of the building to the left of the lab. Show your Pokedex to the director in the back right of the office to receive the "Shiny Charm."
