Pokemon USUM | Sub-Legendary and UB Reroll Guide - GameWith

This page summarizes the methods for rerolling Type: Null, the Guardian Deities, and Ultra Beasts (UB) in Pokemon Sun and Moon (SM).

Sun and Moon Reroll Methods Summary

Introducing rerolling methods for each Pokemon in Sun and Moon!

Can Only Be Rerolled Here

The Pokemon featured here cannot produce Eggs, so the only way to get them with desired stats/nature is to soft reset when capturing them.

Aspects to Look For

Individual Values (IVs)

IVs are hidden stats for each of a Pokemon's base stats, ranging from 0 to 31. The higher the IV, the higher the stat will be, so aim to soft reset for Pokemon with high IVs.

Nature

A Pokemon's Nature affects its stat growth, increasing one stat while decreasing another (or having no effect). Nature is a crucial factor in raising strong Pokemon, so it's important to soft reset for the right one.

Soft Resetting Basics [Synchronize]

For Natures, if you place a Pokemon with the Ability Synchronize at the head of your party, there's a 50% chance that wild Pokemon will share the Synchronize Pokemon's Nature. (For Type: Null, this chance is 100%.) The Pokemon introduced here are guaranteed to have at least 3 perfect IVs (3V), so preparing a Pokemon with Synchronize can make soft resetting much easier.

Type: Null Soft Resetting Method

※ Soft resetting for Hidden Power is omitted here as the methods and resulting stats vary.

Soft Resetting Method

  • 1. After becoming Champion, head to Aether Paradise.
  • 2. Proceed through the corridor and save your game in front of Gladion.
  • 3. Talk to Gladion to receive Type: Null.
  • 4. Check its IVs and Nature.
  • 5. If it's not what you want, reset the game and repeat from step 3.
