Does the Hall of Fame Finish the Game?

The Story Isn't Everything

The story of Ultra Sun and Moon is the foundation of the game, and there's a post-Hall of Fame story prepared. Additionally, there are many things you can't do during the main story, like completing the Pokedex. There are also facilities you can access after entering the Hall of Fame, so be sure to challenge them.

Ultra Beast Acquisition Event

How to Get Type: Null

Type: NullDuring the Ultra Beast event, just before entering [Poni Ancient Path].

Immediately after the start of the post-Hall of Fame story, you can receive Type: Null and various Memories from Wicke. Since it can only be obtained once, be sure to take note of it.

In Ultra Sun, you can get Blacephalon, and in Ultra Moon, you can get Stakataka. You can only catch two, so be careful if you plan to soft-reset for stats/nature.

Can Be Soft-Reset For Later

You'll be asked to catch two during the event, but the event will proceed even if both flee. You can soft-reset for them later on, so if you aren't in a hurry to catch them, it's recommended to do so later.

Team Rainbow Rocket Event

Episode RR

The post-Hall of Fame story [Episode RR] begins after the new UB acquisition event. It's a story focusing on Team Rainbow Rocket, where you can battle against villainous teams from past games.

How to Get Cosmog

Evolves into Solgaleo/Lunala

You can obtain Cosmog, which evolves into the Legendary Pokemon Solgaleo or Lunala.

How to Obtain

  • Have Solgaleo or Lunala in your party and go to Poni Grand Canyon on Poni Island.
  • Enter the dimensional rift.
  • In Ultra Sun, you'll arrive at the [Altar of the Sunne]; in Ultra Moon, the [Altar of the Moone].
  • Ride Charizard and follow the path to Route 16.
  • Pass through Ula'ula Meadow and move to the altar at [Lake of the Sunne] in Ultra Sun, or [Lake of the Moone] in Ultra Moon.
  • Proceed as is, and an event will occur, allowing you to obtain Cosmog.

You can obtain the guardians of the Alola region. The Tapu deities can only be obtained one at a time, so be sure to soft-reset carefully to get them.

How to Get Zygarde

Obtain the Legendary Pokemon Zygarde

Acquisition event for the Legendary Pokemon Zygarde. By completing everything, you can create 100% Zygarde.

Zygarde Acquisition Event

  • Head to the back of the central area of End Cave on Poni Island.
  • Obtain Zygarde (Lv. 60, 50% Forme Zygarde).
  • Battle Dexio inside the trailer on Route 16.
  • After winning, obtain Zygarde 10% Forme.
  • The Reassembly Unit will be unlocked, and you'll receive the Zygarde Cube (containing 40 Zygarde Cells).

Collecting Legendaries via Warp Ride

Legendaries from Past Generations Appear!

By traveling into Ultra Wormholes using Ultra Warp Ride, you can encounter Legendary Pokemon from past generations. There are many types, so master the Warp Ride and catch those Legendary Pokemon.

How to Get Porygon

Porygon Can Be Obtained

Head to Aether House in the center of Ula'ula Island, and you can receive Porygon from the employee wearing a gas mask in the back-right room.

Totem Sticker Collection

Collect Totem Stickers to Get Totem Pokemon

Let's go collect the Totem Stickers found on each map. When you collect a certain number of Totem Stickers, you can obtain a [Totem Pokemon].

Challenge the Battle Tree

Facility Accessible After Hall of Fame

The [Battle Tree] is a facility accessible after entering the Hall of Fame. You can reach it from the deepest part of Poni Island.

How to Get to the Battle Tree

If you proceed in the order below, the Battle Tree is at the very end.

Pokemon League (Title Defense)

After the Hall of Fame, You Become the One Challenged!

After your first entry into the Hall of Fame, you become the Champion and will be challenged by various characters. The challenging characters are figures from the story, but their Pokemon teams are stronger.

Eevium Z Can Be Obtained

The event starts when you talk to the man at the leftmost register in [Thrifty Megamart] on Akala Island. After the event ends, you can obtain [Eevium Z].

How to Unlock Mega Evolution

Defeat Dexio to Unlock Mega Evolution!

When you go to Poni Plains, you will battle Dexio. If you defeat Dexio, Mega Evolution will be unlocked, and you will be able to Mega Evolve.

Mega Stones Can Be Obtained with BP

Various Mega Stones can be obtained by collecting BP. Collect BP and get Mega Stones.

How to Get the Oval Charm

Item That Speeds Up Egg Discovery

The Oval Charm is an item that makes Pokemon Eggs be found faster when Pokemon are left at the Nursery. It's a necessary item for breeding, so be sure to get it.

How to Obtain the Oval Charm

  • Go to the office building in Heahea City on Akala Island.
  • Battle [Game Freak's Morimoto] on the 2nd floor.
  • Obtain the [Oval Charm] after winning.

How to Get the Lucky Egg

Essential Item for Leveling Up

You can obtain the [Lucky Egg], an item that increases EXP earned by 1.5 times when held by a Pokemon. It's an essential item for training, so be sure to get it.

How to Obtain the Lucky Egg

With 50 or more Pokemon registered in your Pokedex, talk to Professor Kukui at the Pokemon Research Lab on Melemele Island.

How to Get the Shiny Charm

Item That Increases Shiny Pokemon Rate

When you complete the Alola Pokedex, you can obtain the Shiny Charm, which increases the probability of encountering Shiny Pokemon. It's essential for shiny hunting, so be sure to get it.

How to Obtain the Shiny Charm

You can obtain it by showing your completed Alola Pokedex to the Game Director on the 2F of the building to the left of the Dimensional Research Lab in Heahea City on Akala Island. (After Pokedex completion)
