Elite 4 Basic Strategy

Party Level Should Be 60 or Higher

The Elite Four's Pokemon are at least level 56. The Champion in the final battle uses level 60 Pokemon. Therefore, it's recommended that all Pokemon in your challenging party be level 60 or higher.

Use Advantageous Z-Moves

If you use a Z-Move that can hit the opponent's weakness, you can deal massive damage. Before challenging each Elite Four member, have your Pokemon hold an advantageous type of Z-Crystal.

Stock Up on Medicine

In the Elite Four challenge, you have to battle 5 trainers consecutively to clear it. Therefore, you need to heal thoroughly after each battle. Purchase Revives (Max Revives) and Potions that can restore HP from the Pokemon Center shop.

Use Rotom Powers Effectively

If your party is at a disadvantage, use Rotom Powers to boost your Pokemon's stats before challenging them. Besides Rotom Powers, you can also use items sold in shops like X Attack.
