Strategy Points
Water Types are at a Double Disadvantage
"Kecleon" or "Comfey" that appear via Call for Help will use Sunny Day. When Sunny Day is used, the power of Water-type moves decreases, and Solar Blade can be activated in one turn, making it very difficult to win with Water types.
Attack with Fire Moves
Sunny Day also has the effect of increasing the power of Fire-type moves. Since Lurantis is a Grass type, you can deal massive damage by adding type compatibility. With a Fire Z-Move, it's possible to take it down in one hit.
Use Rotom Powers and Stat-Boosting Items
If you absolutely can't win, try strengthening your Pokemon with items like X Attack (Plus Power), X Defense (Defender), or Roto Boost (Ouen Pon). Even if your level grinding isn't quite enough, items can sometimes give you an advantage.
