This article summarizes events that only occur once in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (Pokemon USUM). Please refer to this if you want to carefully select your Pokemon.
What Does Non-Repeatable Mean?
Non-repeatable events are those that, once progressed, cannot be triggered again. If you want to redo them later, you'll need to reset, so be careful.
Save Before the Event
Save before a non-repeatable event. By saving, if you fail or defeat the Pokemon, you can reset and trigger the event again.

Protagonist Settings
Skin Tone, Name, and Gender Cannot Be Changed Later
The protagonist's gender, name, and skin tone decided at the beginning of the story cannot be changed later. Make sure to choose carefully before starting the story.
ID Number Also Cannot Be Changed
Although it doesn't particularly affect the game, the number listed on the Trainer ID also cannot be changed. If it bothers you, reset and then proceed with the game.
Hairstyle, Clothes, and Eye Color Can Be Changed Anytime
While gender and skin tone cannot be changed, hairstyle, clothes, and eye color can be altered later.
Choosing Your Starter Pokemon
Cannot Be Re-chosen Later
The Pokemon you receive at the beginning of the story (commonly known as: Starter Pokemon) cannot be re-chosen later. They will be an important partner in your story, so choose carefully.
Does Not Appear in the Wild Either
Starter Pokemon do not appear in the wild. Therefore, the only way to obtain starter Pokemon other than the one you initially chose is through trading.
Ditto 5 Event
Valuable Ditto Can Be Obtained
The Ditto that appears in the event where you collect Ditto from each map, if defeated, you will never be able to encounter it again. It becomes a very valuable Ditto when breeding for stats, so make sure to catch it without defeating it.
Guardian Deity Selection
Each Guardian Deity Can Only Be Caught Once
The sub-legendary Tapu Pokemon that appear in the Alola region can only be caught once. If you plan to soft-reset for stats, prepare thoroughly before attempting to catch them.
Obtaining New UBs
Obtain Added UBs is a One-Time Only Event
The event to obtain the UBs added in Ultra Sun and Moon is a one-time only event.

[Tip]All Except Poipole Can Be Soft-Reset for Later
For the new UBs Blacephalon and Stakataka, other than Poipole, you can choose to retreat when the event occurs, allowing you to soft-reset for them later. Since they appear during the story, it's recommended to retreat once and then soft-reset when you are ready.
Obtaining Legendary Pokemon
All Legendary Pokemon Are One-Time Only
All Legendary Pokemon appearing in Ultra Sun and Moon can only be obtained once. If you want to soft-reset for individual values (IVs), make sure to do so thoroughly before catching them.

Ultra Wormholes Are Also One-Time Only
The Legendary Pokemon found inside Ultra Wormholes, encountered using Warp Ride, are also all one-time acquisitions. Make sure to soft-reset thoroughly before catching them.
Obtaining Type: Null
Obtained After Entering the Hall of Fame
Type: Null can be obtained after entering the Hall of Fame. The event only occurs once, and the story will not progress unless you receive it. If you plan to soft-reset for stats, prepare in advance before receiving it.
