Porygon-Z Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Can disrupt the opponent's Energy Zone
  2. Quick attacks from the early game
  3. Struggles to deal high damage

Can Disrupt the Opponent's Energy Zone

The Porygon-Z deck is unique in its ability to interfere with the opponent’s Energy Zone. Porygon-Z's attack randomly changes the type of Energy the opponent can use next, potentially delaying their attack by a turn depending on their deck composition.

Quick Attacks from the Early Game

Both the Porygon-Z and Weezing evolution lines require minimal Energy to attack, allowing for an aggressive start. The ideal strategy is to use Weezing alongside Koga for early-game durability before transitioning into Porygon-Z for the late game.

Struggles to Deal High Damage

None of the main Pokemon in this deck can naturally exceed 100 damage. In high-damage matchups, the best solution is to set up Mew ex as early as possible to compensate.
