- Buy time with other Pokemon.
- Attack once Porygon Z has evolved.
Until Porygon-Z evolves, use other durable Pokemon in the early game to stall time. Given Porygon-Z's offensive potential, it's best to use Pokemon that can deal damage to the opponent with 1 Energy or less.
Once you can use Porygon-Z's attack, get it into the Active Spot as soon as possible and focus on attacking relentlessly. If you can knock out the opponent's main attacker with Energy attached, it's possible to eliminate it without allowing it to use any attacks, even if its Energy type doesn't match.
