Porygon-Z Pros and Cons

Randomize the Opponent's Energy

Porygon-Z's Attack deals 80 damage with 3 Energy, which is on the lower end for Stage 2 Pokemon. However, it can randomly change the next Energy provided to the opponent from 8 types.

In mono-type decks, there's about an 87% chance of forcing the opponent to use an unwanted Energy, so if it works well, the opponent may be unable to use their Attack with the next Pokemon.

Requires Strategy to Use Effectively

It cannot impose any restrictions on Pokemon that already have Energy attached, so you'll need to support it with other cards.

• Mawile or Mow Rotom to discard Energy
• Use a Pokemon with Energy on the Bench and call it with Cyrus to have Porygon-Z knock it out

In summary, using it effectively requires thoughtful deck-building and strategy.
