Celebi ex Deck - Pros / Cons

  1. Use Serperior's Energy Acceleration
  2. Healing Support Cards
  3. Risk of Getting a Bad Hand

Use Serperior's Energy Acceleration

  1. Pokemon TCG Pocket - Celebi ex 1
  2. Pokemon TCG Pocket - Celebi ex 2

Celebi ex can deal great damage depending on the number of Energy attached to it. If you can get Serperior on the Bench, the Energy will be multiplied by 2.

Healing Support Cards

  1. Erika
  2. Potion

Because you have Erika, your Grass Pokemon won't be defeated easily. If you recover HP for Celebi ex or Dhelmise, they can stay on the Active Spot for prolonged periods.

Risk of Getting a Bad Hand

  1. Snivy
  2. Servine

Serperior being a Stage 2 Pokemon, one of the deck's major drawbacks is not being able to draw Serperior and evolve Snivy. Including Caterpie as a back up to draw a Grass Pokemon could be viable.

Celebi ex Deck Strategy

  1. Use Exeggutor ex As Defensive Wall
  2. Prepare Serperior On Bench
  3. Aim High Damage With Celebi ex
Use Exeggutor ex As Defensive Wall
  1. Exeggutor ex
  2. Snivy

At the start, use Exeggutor ex as a wall to chip away at the opponent's HP. If you manage to draw two Snivy cards, consider using one as a wall instead. If you're going second, attacking with Celebi ex from the second turn is also a viable option.

Prepare Serperior On Bench
  1. Servine
  2. Serperior

Once you draw Servine or Serperior, start evolving Snivy on the Bench. Try to allocate Energy to Celebi ex as much as possible.

Aim High Damage With Celebi ex
  1. Celebi ex
  2. Exeggutor (Mythical Island)

Once Serperior is set up on the Bench, you can aim for significant damage with Celebi ex. Use Exeggutor ex to knock out the opponent's Active Pokémon, then follow up with Celebi ex to take down their key attackers. If you draw Exeggcute later, you can consider using Exeggutor (Mythical Island) as an attacker.
