Chatot Pros and Cons
Easier to Fix Bad Hands
Chatot's Attack allows you to return your entire hand to the deck and draw new cards in exchange. It's a valuable card that helps lower the bad hand rate in decks that require a lot of setup, like Stage 2 Pokemon attackers.
Choose to Draw or Keep
Since the hand redraw is an Attack, you can choose to use it or end your turn without using it. If your hand is not favorable, using the Attack can effectively cycle your deck.
Draw Amount Depends on the Opponent
Chatot's Attack has its risks. The number of cards you draw is not based on how many cards you returned to the deck, but on the number of cards your opponent has in their hand. If your opponent has a lot of cards, it can be very powerful, but if they have fewer cards, it could result in a less useful hand.
Best Used After Your Hand is Depleted
While it's dependent on your opponent's hand, it's not always a bad thing. If your hand is down to 0 or 1 card, this can function as a simple Draw effect.
